A6: maintain best practices in asmnt!!! look for where children ARE & not what they’re lacking in & build up from there. Let go of any prior expectations you’ve had esp. if you have spent yrs in one grade level. Avoid the fall down to the deficit model & hyper asmnt. #g2great

A5: let go of any pressures around academics & provide space for children to get reacquainted w/ one another, build safety, community & relationships, observe play & engagement, open up space for sharing beyond morning mtgs. #g2great
