On this gorgeous autumn day, 75 children and "big kids" rode bicycles together to school and it was joyous. Thanks to @cleverhoods for helping the Peabody #Bikebus feel official, and making us so visible! Video by @BostonBikeData
My name is Evan MacKay. I’m running for state representative in Cambridge to make MA better for the many, not the few. As we head into early voting starting this Saturday, check out our brand-new campaign video!
@BenForWard3 An open Memorial Drive/Riverbend Park was pivotal for all three of my kids to learn to cycle. Let's keep fighting for this public space. Please vote now for @EvanforCambridg in the primary.
Cambridge friends in the 25th Middlesex, please get out and vote this primary. We desperately need new leadership in the state. @EvanforCambridg @cambbikesafety
As an advocate for mobility justice and active cyclist, I am thrilled to earn the endorsement of Cambridge Bicycle Safety. As the tragic recent deaths underscore, we need state action to ensure that everybody on our streets can travel safely and with dignity. @cambbikesafety
Wow, that's a lot of whereas's! Official city council resolution "suitably engrossed" just for the Peabody/RAUC #bikebus. This made my day, thanks Cambridge City Council! @Marc_C_McGovern
Where are all my Boston Bike Bus friends?! I hope you can make this awesome discussion panel I will be speaking at on July 31st.

@MBTA Red line shut down season means Alewife Plaza is now a parking lot, in addition to public space and pedestrian/bicycle corridor. If only there was a parking garage close by with capacity for these contractors' vehicles. @cambbikesafety
Children are 20% of our population but 100% of our future.
Yet we keep building places that steal their freedom and put them in danger.
If we really care about the wellbeing of kids, we must start including them in urban and transport planning policies.

At campgrounds, packs of children roam around on their bikes, while people driving cars were patient and slow. Why can't our kids have this freedom in our urban neighborhoods? Traffic calming was necessary at the campsite entrance, but a bubble installation was very effective.
@cambbikesafety@MarkBoswell16@1Keytarbear I didn't realize how much #bikebus meant to me until faced with the reality of not seeing it for a year. Anyone know of any #bicibus action in Rome?
Please follow @bikepedantic and @franschrandez for updates next year on the Peabody/RAUC Bike Bus.
The last bike bus of the school year, and my last bike bus for a year, as my family embarks on a year abroad. Surprised by the community send off, a cello in tow, a photo signed by all the kids, and a city council resolution, so many feels today. @Marc_C_McGovern @bikepedantic
@cambbikesafety@MarkBoswell16@1Keytarbear joining #bikebus was a huge highlight for me. The way the kids mobbed Keytar Bear to autograph their helmets, I have no words. I foresee more bike parades in KB's future.
Highlights from the school year. . . @BostonGlobe covering our bike bus was so magical. https://t.co/YGmmQHETIx Helmets off to @cleverhoods for decking us out in our official #bikebus jackets. The visibility for marshals is key. We just need a hot weather version.
Biking down Cambridge St. today, I’m frustrated by how easily we could accommodate parking and still provide a safe bike lane and pedestrian crosswalk. Delaying bike lanes as some on City Council want helps no one and hurts everyone. Let’s push for safer streets! @cambbikesafety
