Mandatory Folic Acid for every man, woman & child. This policy makes no sense and has significant risks for those advised by the NHS not to take folic acid

Hello @marksandspencer Why is artificial folic acid now in so much of your food? This is a Raspberry Royale dessert - yet another item I won’t be buying again 🤷♀️

They're using fresh beef suet from local butchers and full-fat milk to avoid the additive now in products like Atora, while steering clear of jams with extra ingredients."
Refusing to drill for our own North Sea oil but then buying the exact same North Sea oil from Norway makes Britain the virtual-signalling, eco-nut capital of the world

Bravo, Charlotte Gill.
She has discovered the taxpayer is giving hundreds of millions to migrant charities.
Why?
The majority of Britons don’t want these people here.
We are being gaslit - and robbed - on a grand scale.
It needs to stop.

Across two 'public consultations' the UK Government recieved just 1807 replies on whether synthetic folic acid should be added to non-wholemeal wheat flour.
The main one ran from June to September 2019 and asked whether millers should be required by law to add folic acid to flour. It received 1,438 responses; 88% came from individuals. Overall, 53% supported the proposal and 39% opposed it. Health-sector respondents who expressed a view were much more supportive (around 85%). The government published a full response in September 2021 and said it would proceed with fortifying non-wholemeal wheat flour.
A second consultation in 2022 (369 responses) covered the detailed changes to the Bread and Flour Regulations, including the exact dose (250 µg per 100 g flour) and implementation. The government again considered the replies and legislated in 2024, with the requirement taking full effect by December 2026.
So on the basis of a select few motivated individuals and highly biased medical professionals with 'skin in the game', the Government moved forward with another mass medication experiement on the British public.
Without consulting the wider public.
Folic Acid is not Folates and there are health risks including cancers associated with taking this synthetic product, even in small doses.
Dear Morrisons, Sainsbury's, Aldi, Lidl, Tesco, Co-Op*
From now on I won't be buying any of your products which contain folic acid, because none of my family is a currently or soon-to-be pregnant woman and, aside from the lack of benefit, folic acid may be harmful to us.
I know we are only 4 people and you have millions of customers and don't care about just 4, but I think you might discover that a lot more than 4 of your customers are angry about this.
Please pressure the government to scrap the law which means huge numbers of food products contain folic acid.
*Waitrose and Marks and Spencer - this applies to you too. I'm just not wealthy enough to shop in your stores.
What do you think about this issue?

To all the Supermarkets and big commercial stores that operate 'Self Check-outs'....
You are heading towards almost exclusively self-checkout now. Yesterday I went shopping at one such store and the lady checking receipts at the exit was stopping everyone.
I didn't choose to participate in that nonsense, I had already filled my trolly, emptied my trolly and scanned the items, refilled my trolly, and so I just skipped the exit line and left.
I heard her saying "Umm - Excuse me “ as I kept walking and raised the receipt above my head, leaving the store.
You can either trust me to do self-checkout, or you can put your cashiers back in place like it used to be.
• I'm not interested in proving that I did your job for you.
• If you want me to be a cashier with no training then that's your problem not mine.
• Keep employing young people and give them job opportunities.
YOU DON'T PAY ME TO SCAN MY OWN SHOPPING.
YOU DON’T GIVE ME STAFF DISCOUNT FOR WORKING FOR YOU.
Signed…
