Since there's nothing to chase, I'm gonna share hawt wx data measured by my ultra-accurate Campbell Scientific station. This was a rain event a few weeks ago that brought explosive rain rates for a short period of time. @wxmeddler helped me analyze the data, & he noted that the 3.18 in (81 mm) in 30 mins (starting about 2:35 am CDT) is a 25-year event at this location, according to NOAA data. The pounding on the metal roof of Hurricane House was thunderous. The measuring device, Campbell Scientific's RainVue 20, is a tipping-bucket rain gage specifically designed to accurately measure extreme events like this. Special technologies in the sensor compensate for errors caused by high-intensity rain.

The mastermind behind a $35 million Ponzi scheme that defrauded Travis Kelce and multiple NBA players has been sentenced to 11 years in prison — and he's an illegal immigrant from India who's been living in the U.S. since 2005.

Siddharth Jawahar, 38, ran his scheme through an investment company called Swiftarc Capital LLC, raising tens of millions from athletes and other investors between 2016 and 2023. He only invested roughly $10 million. The rest went to private jets, luxury apartments in Austin and New York, high-end dining, and exclusive club memberships.

After his indictment, Jawahar tried to coach a victim into giving a favorable statement to the FBI, lied about his immigration status and finances, and attempted to get his sister to remotely wipe his iPhone to destroy evidence. He now faces $31.35 million in restitution — and potential deportation.

New Imagery Update: Iran is Rapidly Reconstructing Taleghan 2

@vantortech satellite imagery from September 13, 2026, shows that Iran is rapidly moving forward with the reconstruction of the Taleghan 2 facility located at the Parchin military complex.  Iran has erected a tarp above the destroyed hardened buried facility, hiding the reconstruction activity that is occurring underneath from satellite view or aerial reconnaissance.  Significant activity can be seen throughout the construction site.  Construction vehicles, including dump trucks, bulldozers, concrete pump trucks and concrete mixers, and cranes, are actively working to rebuild the facility.  Repair and rehabilitation work began in June 2026, first with Iran repairing and placing concrete caps over the penetration holes caused by the multiple bunker buster weapons dropped on the facility.  Iran has also built a new concrete apron reinforcement on the right side of the facility, the one on the left side that we noted in our July 2026 update now appears complete.  This will provide additional blast protection from an aerial attack.

German hospitals are preparing for a possible war, with the Bundeswehr expecting to receive up to 1,000 wounded soldiers a day, Bloomberg reports. The country's five military hospitals would quickly reach capacity, forcing civilian hospitals to treat battlefield casualties. The military is also reviving Cold War-era facilities, including a nuclear bunker hospital in Ulm designed for 2,000 people. Civilian surgeons are being trained to treat combat injuries, while Germany is also seeking to reduce its dependence on Chinese medical supplies.

➟ She says she’s “unavailable.”

➟ She quits a few days later from the LAHSA governing commission.

➟ DOJ arrests people in LA relating to fraud with homeless services funds.

➟ LAHSA throws in the towel and decides they no longer want to receive federal funding.

This doesn’t end here. Mayor Karen Bass must testify.

Americans deserve accountability from everyone who looked the other way while their money went to fraudsters.
