Sen. Dianne Feinstein was a force to be reckoned with - a searing, incisive mind, a tough as nails politician, and a larger than life persona. But my favorite personal memory is the only meeting I ever had with her where she greeted me in her home in a suit and fuzzy slippers.
Barbara Lee has always been first in line to take on the most important battles. She’s been a fierce and effective fighter for our entire state and our country. She's the right choice to represent California in the United States Senate and I’m proud to endorse her.
New: @RepBarbaraLee & @RepDeSaulnier introduce the “Moneyball Act,” to help keep the #Athletics from leaving #Oakland. Bill would require compensation from owners who move their teams, or @MLB would lose its antitrust exemption.
It’s official – I’m running to be the new Supervisor for District 9! I’ll pack a punch for our progressive values while getting results that fix our city. Will you join my campaign? Together we can build a stronger, safer SF. Visit https://t.co/e6fVFCEjcu
WATCH my powerful intrvu with @brotherjones_ and @RepBarbaraLee and you’ll understand why I couldn’t hold it together.

I've seen enough: Janet Protasiewicz defeats Daniel Kelly for Wisconsin Supreme Court. The result flips ideological control of the court from conservative to liberal, a huge victory for the pro-choice side.
New this morning: Bay Area Rep. @RoKhanna says he is not running for U.S. Senate. Instead, he’s endorsed @BarbaraLeeForCA and is co-chairing her campaign.
New: @RoKhanna endorses "my good friend" @BarbaraLeeForCA for the U.S. Senate, calling her "the progressive leader Californians need right now." Adds "There isn’t a single Black woman currently serving in the Senate. We can finally change that.”
Breaking, and a big deal: @RoKhanna endorses @BarbaraLeeForCA for Senate. Not hugely surprising, since we figured if he didn't run himself, he would back his fellow Bay Area progressive, but it's a big get for Lee in her race against @katieporteroc & @AdamSchiff.
I am proud to endorse @BarbaraLeeForCA and serve as a co-chair of her campaign. She is a personal hero and one of the reasons why I first ran for Congress at age 27 on an anti-war platform.
Thank you, @RoKhanna, for your endorsement of my campaign for U.S. Senate, where I will fight everyday to push our shared progressive agenda of Medicare4All, ending student debt, and abolishing the filibuster.
"Barbara Lee has been a very close friend. I have the utmost respect for her."
@KarenBassLA explains to @Elex_Michaelson why she endorsed @BarbaraLeeForCA for Senate over @katieporteroc + @RepAdamSchiff.
She says it's also bc: "there are no African American women in the Senate"
