@alivitali@WayTooEarly@Eleanor_Mueller@abedelman@CFColemanJr@JuliaManch Canadian here and Morning Joe listener. I was shocked by your comment this morning a/b Republicans having to go back to town halls to explain the economic & financial cost of “adding another state.”Attempting to annex an ally through economic warfare isn’t “adding” a state.
@Mikeggibbs What did he win?? The 25% tariffs have not changed. The only thing he avoided were harsher tariffs, which were threatened in response to Ford’s electricity tariff. Nothing else has changed.
1/ Donald Trump may be aiming to annex the Great Lakes – and possibly south-eastern Ontario in a maximalist scenario – and kick Canada out of NORAD, judging by first-hand accounts of talks between Canada and the Trump Administration. ⬇️
Ontario PC Leader Doug Ford blames the ever-longer waits in hospital emergency rooms on people with “a little scrape on the knee or whatever.” #onpoli https://t.co/c0206wCe6y
NEW: Ontario's Liberals are releasing what they are calling "hidden" healthcare data on access to primary care:

- 205 communities don't have a single family doctor
- 4.1 million people are not rostered with a family doctor.
