@DrShaena My birth claim was partially denied because they put me in a "private room" not a "semi-private" room (lol what). I appealed it with the state board of insurance and all of the sudden, United covered it.

@caraghpoh This happened to me for a bogus reason - something to try: file a complaint with your state insurance regulation board. It's pretty easy to submit a complaint. Within about 3 weeks they decided to cover it. Could work!
