I can’t even imagine what would happen if teachers and school staffs only worked their contractual hours, only fulfilled their contractual duties and only used the resources their schools provided.
Research takes DECADES to get implemented in classrooms. It's often done at a grad level with little actionable implementation. Teachers don't trust that because they've got to work with kids & show results. k20 research will come from teachers, for teachers. 💼

What most adults will never experience in their jobs:
A student visiting them years later to say thanks for being there when nobody else was.
A parent writing an email saying you changed their child's life & they can't thank you enough.
That's why being a teacher is awesome.
@dawn_mittsd@dailystem I think it has a lot to do with the mindset and values in the classroom. Authentic/real-world learning, with a focus on resilience, flexibility, creativity, collaboration, communication, risk taking, and critical thinking. How are Ss encouraged to embrace and demonstrate these?
Launch a 🚀 from your backyard, immerse yourself in an underwater coral reef 🐠 or design buildings 🏢. Show your students how to discover the world around them with Augmented Reality Activities for Kids. These activities are perfect for summertime or the school year. #ARoniPad
