@rauchg DX pain points: Dev mode setup & machine parity across large team. Native package upgrades. Debugging native libs like reanimated. Android. E2E testing. Needing to memoize basically everything (maybe non issue in react19)

The impact of aggressive & consistent leadership support on design system adoption is not talked about enough. It takes time to see ROI & is daunting task for any company. Biggest lever I’ve seen is top -> down support & @brian_armstrong deserves a lot of credit here

@simon_mcl I hope they convert the Login flow back to react native. I disagreed with decision to use webview at the time. As we can see with your experience, it clouds all the other great work.

Been a while since I last used @coinbase app, but wow. I’m so proud of how far the mobile app has come. You can tell the Design & Eng teams really care about quality. Anyone who’s stuck in the “react native is trash” mindset, go check it out.
