[THREAD] This #WomensHistoryMonth, let's not forget how many of our rights were only won in recent decades, and weren’t given by asking nicely and waiting.
We need to fight for our rights.
Here's are a few examples:
Repeat after me:
I am not my job.
My job is how I pay my bills, but my job does not define me.
I am not lost if I lose my job.
I am more than my job.
I am more than my career.
When you don’t share the struggles you’ve faced in life, people will often assume your life has been easy. It can be frustrating, but I would much rather have people think I’ve never gone through anything than give strangers access to my most painful personal memories.
