DAY 4 UNTIL CS: Launch Day 🚀

Ecom Uni was officially launched today and I was honestly so impressed. I was in ecomtalent before as some may know and the branding and effort put into Ecom uni is honestly… evolutionary for the education space.

I took the zone of genius quiz and got creative strategy! So now I’m trenching through @KatPrefontaine dense content. (There’s so much sauce for those who haven’t joined yet).

Let’s keep stacking days!

[Spencer Pawliw @spencepawliw]

This is the biggest moment of my life

And I streamed it LIVE on YouTube for over 3 hours

Here's a teaser...

Let's fucking gooo!

[Shaun Eng @shauneng]

I went from a broke gaming addict to helping 61 Ecom brands hit their first $100k/day.
⠀
But growing up I was average at everything.
⠀
School, sports, you name it.
⠀
Never thought getting rich was possible for a kid like me.
⠀
Then I saw a YouTube video of a kid making $1M online at 17.
⠀
Figured if I made even 10% of that, I'd already be a top 5% earner in my country.
⠀
So I went all in on dropshipping, but I only had $500 and didn't have the cashflow to keep going.
⠀
My dad gave me 3 months to make it work, or I needed to get a loan to go to a traditional university. Really didn't want that.
⠀
So I learned FB ads from a course. Spent a few weeks spamming Upwork proposals, cold DMing people, even applying for VA jobs.
⠀
Landed a media buying job at $4-5k/mth. I was making $400/mth selling vacuums for Dyson before that.
⠀
10x'd my income at 18. Big money for a kid from Malaysia.
⠀
A year later I teamed up with Spencer. We thought we were hot sh*t. Our first client was spending a few thousand a day. Threw every strategy I had at it.
⠀
They fired us within weeks. My salary went from $4-5k a month down to $1-2k.
⠀
Took me 2 more years to figure out what I was missing.
⠀
My thing wasn't the media buying. It was creative strategy. Knowing what makes an ad actually sell.
⠀
Then that same client came back.

This time I edited one video for them. It became a winning ad and we finally scaled them.
⠀
That's when I found my Zone of Genius.
⠀
The kid who was average at school, sports, everything finally found the one thing he was actually good at.
⠀
Since then that one skill has helped 61 brands hit their first $100k/day. We even scaled a brand to $800k/day on Black Friday.
⠀
If I'd never found it, I'd have burned years and a lot more money on a skill I wasn't built for.
⠀
Most people go their whole life without finding their Zone of Genius.
⠀
That's exactly what @ecomuniversity is for.

Video editing, graphic design, creative strategy, media buying, content creation, with more coming. Find the one you're built for and go all in.
⠀
My partners @spencepawliw and @karlocreates have been locked in on this all year.
⠀
It just went live. Find your Zone of Genius 👇

we're making the hardest swing at traditional education yet.

for almost a year now, I've took part in shaping the universe that is Ecom University.

this is a bit of announcement post as well, since I did join the agency around this time, and pretty much dropped every client in order to go all-in here.

this is not an online course.

this is an eco-system of multiple different communities interacting with each other, each one with a dedicated program for mastering a skill you're meant to do.

we use ecommerce simply as a driver to help you develop and master your skills.

additionally, the entire eco-system like design allows you to master a skill, then move on and stack a next one - interacting with some of the best operators that the specific field of ecom has to offer

ad creative, media buying, creative strategy, content creation and CRO - all with their own dedicated programs and communities put together and hosted by our team at the agency

the same team that handles multiple 9-figure brands across the industry.

now, the reason I called this a swing at traditional education, is because not only are we treating this like an actual university with a whole campus of communities,

we're giving students the ability to earn and grow an income, while they learn.

ecombounty(.com) is integrated all throughout the eco-system, and it essentially allows students to put together ads for brands that are part of the program, and earn a percentage of the spend on their ads.

students get paid as they get better, brands get an additional stream of thousands of creatives allowing more scale and talent at a quality level of 9 figure creative teams.

the benefits are endless, and the advantage is no longer inside a classroom.

Find Your Zone of Genius, October 26th

[Karlo @karlocreates]

5.79 billion people use social media

We spend 7 hours a day on screens

$6.9 trillion was spent online in 2025

That's $219,000 every single second

People have more money than at any point in history

They have more free time than at any point in history

And they're choosing to spend both online

Every year more people come online, more money moves online, and more brands launch to sell to them

The money is already flowing

You just need to be standing where it flows

Ecom

[Ecom University @ecomuniversity]

At 29, Carroll Shelby went bankrupt when all of the chickens on his farm died

So he tried racing instead

He went on to win Le Mans and beat Ferrari

Farming wasn't his thing
Racing was

One failure doesn't make you a failure

[Kat Prefontaine @KatPrefontaine]

rest in pepperoni ❤️

[Ecom University @ecomuniversity]

an important message to all of ecom:

[Karlo @karlocreates]

If you're not inside @ecomuniversity this Q4, what are you even doing?

[Ecom University @ecomuniversity]

This is like the 50th creative strategist job post I've seen on X in the past 3 days.

The demand is insane.

And no one talks about how simple it is to transition from video editor > creative strategist

You're sitting there editing reels for $30 a video while brands are begging for people who understand how to make winning ads.

As an editor you can make easily $10k/month once you learn how brands operate from the inside and how to build winning ads, not just pretty ones.

And when you eventually want to start your own ecom brand, you've got capital saved, the skills to make your own ads, and you already know what makes people buy.

You'll have an insane headstart over any other beginner in ecom.

This is basically a no-brainer lol

[Talon Layman @talon_layman]

Anyone who's in the space and not in Ecom University right now is missing out.

The new modules are dropping today.

They've been doing their best to remain locked and show us an overview of the new modules...

...but the chat is having so much fun.

It's just so entertaining.

Spencer had to hide his camera when he dropped in because he was laughing so hard.

High energy.

High level skills and learning.

With High agency.

I love this community.

Everyone is kind and respectful.

They have worked so hard on everything that they are delivering while making sure that it helps as many people as possible.

This is what happens when you truly care about people and work like a beast towards providing value.

So many killers that know how to have fun while also getting the work done.

I'm ready to dig in tonight!
