I don't think I will ever get used to visiting DC and not seeing both of my grandparents there. Last time I visited I made this short video about my Grandpa who passed away earlier this year

We are installing pedestrian refuge islands on Chestnut Street to keep everyone safe, no matter how they travel.
Traffic violence is real violence, and it is preventable. This traffic calming measure will get us even closer to achieving Vision Zero.

The groundbreaking new agreements-covering Aramark's operations at all three stadiums—will, for the first time, provide healthcare benefits for year-round work and family sustaining wage increases.
@PACCUSA I finished work and have been a mod in the #p4a2025 livestream - and finished a row of green!
I also voted for Camp Lilac, a summer camp for trans and gender diverse youth! 🏳️⚧️

Let me tell you a story:
In 2015 I was working on a Presidential campaign and one night some of the staff go to dinner. While there, the person heading up our campaign research (let’s call him Research Guy) looked at me and said he wanted to give me some advice.
He said I will need to get some additional experience before I am able to make this much money again. 🧵
A lot of people in this country including the President sound like Research Guy right now. I have some advice:
Do not allow these people to run you out of the room.
Do not stop working.
Do not give them the benefit of the doubt.
They have no idea of your power.
Show them.
Here is some good news to end the week from @apipennsylvania and the @SaveChinatownPA coalition.
This shows the collective power we wield when we come together across race, background, and faith to demand a future where all of our families can thrive:

After two and a half years of battling, *WE WON* !!
Fighting for working people, for working families and for our last community of color in Center City will continue to matter and we must work to grow the Save Chinatown Coalition deep into the future. 💪🏼❤️🔥

I believe to my C O R E that people listening to things without headphones so ubiquitously came because of the loss of headphone jacks!!!
We used to be a society!!!
I love my friends. I love my neighbors. I love my community.
I'm going to keep fighting to protect the people I love - and I would love for you to join us in this fight
And most importantly, we want to welcome you to be a part of what we will be doing next. Become a member of API PA so that you can be involved in building a city and commonwealth that works for everyone who calls it home. https://t.co/C7GJ5t89lT
The relationships and community we've built with each other has only made Philly stronger. An arena in our city might not be a threat anymore, but we will still be here protecting and fighting for what our communities across the city need. #SaveChinatown#NoArena#Philadelphia
Today the No Arena coalition let everyone know what we think about the Center City Sixers arena no longer haunting our city. This coalition is made up of people from all across the city, from all different backgrounds, who came together to fight for a city that works for everyone
Yesterday the Philadelphia Inquirer Editorial Board agreed with what @ruephilacouncil and I have been saying for months: The City must lead the reimagining of Market East, in close partnership with the community.
Otherwise, we will continue to be the feeding ground for billionaire developers who, as we saw this week, will always put their interests above Philadelphia’s.
We won! And I'm going to make sure that whatever happens next in that area is going to be based on what our communities actually need, not what a handful of billionaires want so that they can increase their profits. LFG!
There is more news we are expecting to come out in the coming hours and days, but for now let's celebrate because they will not be building an arena in the heart of our city!
