A DA councillor was caught faking his two degrees and was charged on 5 counts and pleaded guilty to all of them, yet he remained a councillor. This is legally fraud. Now he ranked 4th on the Cape Town list for the upcoming elections.

There is actually a term for this state of affairs you're describing: Anarcho-tyranny

Anarcho-tyranny describes a system in which the government either fails or refuses to enforce basic law and order in regards to serious crimes, while meticulously and forcefully applying petty regulations and restrictions against law-abiding citizens. The result is a state of simultaneous anarchy for criminals to thrive in and tyranny for the compliant.

Think of a spiderweb that only catches gnats while the wasps remain free.

As much as I hate to post a News24 article I know this to be true and factual.

Meet Abdulkader Elyas, a DA candidate who lied about his degrees and who arrived at his selection panel interview in scrubs 😂 (yes, you read that right: the guy isn't a medical doctor but arrived in SCRUBS), and was found guilty of breaching the DA's constitution on five different occasions, and despite this, is ranked fourth on their PR list for Cape Town for the upcoming elections.

The DA isn't taking you seriously if this is how they deal with people for blatantly lying, admitting guilt, breaching the party's constitution and then rewarding them with councillor positions.

Call me whatever you want, but if you allow this type of behaviour from a political party, then you are no better than any ANC/EFF/MK voter who blindly votes for their party.

If you want to vote for a party that stands on its principles, hold their own accountable and fights for your rights, then vote @VFPlus!
