Lord, I am placing my entire life into Your hands. Write my story. Lead my steps. Fight my battles. Heal my wounds. Restore what has been broken. Open the doors that no one can shut. Close the doors that are not from You.
Above everything else, never allow me to walk away from You.
Even if I cry, let me cry in Your presence.
Even if I fall, let me fall at Your feet.
Even if I become weak, let me become weak while holding onto You.
Because where else can I go?
You alone have the words of eternal life.
Lord... I trust You.
Help my unbelief.
Teach me to trust You until the very end.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ,
Amen.
Lukewarm take: we need to stop using mental health/therapy buzzwords in day to day life. Not everyone you dislike is a narcissist. Being sad doesn’t mean you’re depressed. There’s a resounding difference between being nervous and having anxiety. You’re not ADHD because you don’t like to sit still. You’re not autistic because you’re quirky. OCD doesn’t mean you’re organized. And for the love of all that is holy, not every situation that made you uncomfortable is “trauma”.
Never settle for seeing life only from the surface. There is always more beneath what is happening around you. In Epistle to the Ephesians, Paul the Apostle prayed for enlightened understanding because he knew this truth: revelation changes everything.
When your understanding is illuminated, you stop reacting emotionally and start responding spiritually. You stop asking, “Why is this happening to me?” and begin declaring, “What is God teaching me through this?” Your perspective determines your power. If you only see obstacles, you will feel defeated. But if you see purpose, you will rise with strength.
Guard your mind. Feed it with truth. Refuse to let temporary situations define eternal promises. Ask God daily to sharpen your spiritual insight so you can discern opportunities disguised as challenges and growth hidden inside discomfort.
Do not live blind to your calling. Do not shrink your vision to match your fears. When your inner eyes are open, you will walk boldly, decide wisely, and endure confidently, because you know that what God has prepared for you is greater than what stands before you. See higher. Think deeper. Believe bigger.

You were not made for comfort, approval, or mediocrity. You were made for purpose. God has placed gifts, callings, and assignments in your life that will impact generations. Rise, align with Him, and walk it out fully
Doubters are a dime a dozen. It takes no faith to point out the dryness, the delays, the unanswered prayers. Anyone can talk about what’s not working, what hasn’t changed, what looks impossible. But God is not moved by what we see; He is moved by what we believe. “Without faith it is impossible to please God” (Hebrews 11:6).
Being a believer doesn’t mean you deny the reality of the dry season. It means you refuse to let the season define your destiny. You may be in a place where resources are low, strength feels drained, and progress seems slow, but faith says, this is not how my story ends. Scripture reminds us, “Though the fig tree does not bud and there are no grapes on the vines… yet I will rejoice in the Lord” (Habakkuk 3:17–18). That is the language of a believer: praising before the bloom appears.
God specializes in turning dry places into fruitful fields. He declares, “I will make streams flow in the desert” (Isaiah 43:19) and “Those who sow in tears shall reap with songs of joy” (Psalm 126:5). The dry season is not a sign of defeat; it is often preparation. Roots grow deepest in hidden seasons. What God is developing in you now is what will sustain the harvest later.
Doubters look at the present and give up. Believers look at God’s promises and stand firm. “Let us not grow weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up” (Galatians 6:9). When you choose faith, you are declaring that delay is not denial, and dryness is not destruction.
So dare to say it out loud: Yes, I’m in a dry season, but I know this is not how my story ends. My blooming season is coming. “The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day” (Proverbs 4:18). Stay believing. Stay expectant. God is faithful to bring beauty, fruitfulness, and joy right on schedule.
@hubermanlab speaking his truth around his belief and experience of a higher power and how it empowers him to live a happier life.
This isn’t new. But the connection to science feels fresh. Should we research this?
When Jesus told us in John 14:12 that if we believed on Him we would be able to do greater works than even He did, He said it because He knew He was going on to heaven pretty soon. He had only three years of time to do good works on the earth and tell people the truth about God. Think about that. Only three little years, and today, almost 2000 years later, we are still talking about the works He did. If Jesus could do all that in just three years, what can we do in a lifetime?
“Do not worry about the future. It makes no sense to worry if God loves you and has taken care of you . . . Eat then your daily bread without worrying about the things tomorrow will bring. The same God who feeds you today is the very God who will feed you tomorrow” ~ Fenelon.
In a world full of uncertainties, the certainty of God’s love is the one thing than can quiet our fears. John told us that perfect love casts out fear. But he also told us “that we know and rely on the love God has for us” (1 John 4:16). Relying on God’s love is much harder than knowing it, singing about it and talking about it. We have to get to the place where our souls rest so deeply and securely in God’s unchanging love that we have peace even in tumultuous times. Leaning into God’s love again today.
Dear God, I pray for the woman who is trusting You with what her eyes cannot see. Some days her faith is fragile and the uncertainty feels scary, but she is moving forward with Your mercy. Remind her that Your hands never stop working and never stop mending for her good. Amen.
My dear American friends,
We British Christians would get excited when, once a year, Queen Elizabeth would make a mild but sincere reference to the love of Jesus Christ in her Christmas address.
In Charlie Kirks' Memorial service, watched by tens of millions, I just heard:
- Multiple clear presentations of the gospel from men like @robmccoyus and @DrFrankTurek with clear calls to repentance and faith
- Worship songs full of Scripture sung by tens of thousands live and millions at home
- Personal testimonies of lives transformed by the work of Christ and the witness of believers
- Demonstration and explanation of the value of marriage, child-rearing and family
- Calls to Romans 13 for the government to bear the sword for the protection of good and punishment of the wicked
- Declarations of spiritual warfare on the forces of evil and promises to endure no matter the cost
- Calls to be prophets and call the nation to repent
- More Scripture references and Bible readings than I can count
- And a widow publicly forgiving her husband's killer because Christ forgave his killers on the cross.
All of it done before, and by, the most powerful people in your nation and the world.
You guys should be on your knees thanking God for your country. It is a light to the world.
Never stop fighting for it.
