@Anim8der @KrisZadziuk At Blizzard, they called this separating “role” from “title”. So you could have the role of Lead at any title above senior 1. Your responsibilities change (more meetings, less individual contributor work), but your title stayed the same.

@JeffAHamilton I think it’s still better in the long run though, that at max level you have multiple zones that are relevant instead on only one max level area. That would get boring quickly.

@JeffAHamilton One of the issues with wow’s scaling is if you’re in a zone, and level up, the mobs level up too, but you’re still wearing the same gear. Since so much of your power is in your gear level, you’re now WEAKER than you were AFTER gaining a new level! At least, temporarily.
