The Rogers-UBC Teleoperation Remote Ultrasound research project is testing that out with help from patients at the Skidegate Health Centre on Haida Gwaii.
This project looks at how a sonographer or radiologist could remotely guide someone to perform an ultrasound, using a mixed-reality headset and tactile inputs to follow along.
