@NA165946@RajasekarApfll Work-life balance is a phrase. For a banker, it's WhatsApp groups at midnight. Targets that follow you home. Audits, compliance, customer anger — stacked daily. Weekends aren't rest. They're recovery #5DayBankingNow#FBOIOA
When the entire world is moving towards 4 days a week, only we are deprived of the much needed 5 days banking… RBI, state government, insurance sector is having 5 days a week.. It’s high time that bankers should also be given 5 days a week… #5DayBankingNow
India’s Bank employees seek two things rooted in fairness and dignity at work.
#5DayWeekandFairPLI
The demand for a 5 Day Work Week in banks is not new. It already stands agreed upon in the Bipartite Settlement of March 2024. What remains is its long-pending implementation.
At the same time, the unilateral and discriminatory PLI system must be abolished and replaced with a fair, transparent and inclusive framework for all employees, recognising the collective effort behind every institution’s performance.
Hardworking bank employees are not asking for privilege. They are asking for implementation of an agreement and equality in reward.
A motivated banking workforce strengthens Indian banking and the nation.
@PMOIndia
We are also with the nation in all difficult times but we are being omitted purposely in all aspects, Respect bankers . We are not going to giveup till our demands are implemented #Approve5DayBankingNow
India’s entire financial architecture runs on a 5-day work week—
Except the bankers who keep it running. 15 lakh Bank employees are still denied a basic, humane reform.
Parity isn’t a privilege. It’s justice.
A modern economy demands modern work practices.RBI, Govt offices, LIC, and insurers follow a 5-day week—bank employees must too.
Equality at work is not optional.
