An interesting case of HSP - think about testing, even when a family history isn't obviously apparent! With lots of contribution from @c_hastie https://t.co/wWMK1BSGMn

Agree - we are seeing more of these cases in Scotland now, after other areas of the UK have raised earlier warnings. Patients can be left with serious deficits. We need to be making people aware of the harm Nitrous Oxide can cause
A casual lobby stroll at the ABN/INA shows you multiple centres are seeing the same thing - there is a major #NitrousOxide abuse situation in the UK and Ireland. We need to club together and pool data to show people the risks.
Indeed a bit of fun, but the book club also opened up some interesting thoughts on why we all chose to be Neurologists. Would recommend similar activities to other trainees!
Bit of fun by me and Kat (not on Twitter).
Oliver Sacks' memoir is well worth a look if you want to understand the mind of a true maverick!

@RCPEdin It’s a real shame that this falls on the same day as another popular Scottish Neurological conference (SANS). The talks sound excellent. Will it be available to catch up online after the event?
