That no matter what the government does, they will never get him, or kpai him. He made a promise that if the Katsina state government meets up with his demands, he will stop attacking in the state. That his target is to go to Kano state, his home state to start attacking villages over there. He gave June 29th, and one extra week for all hell to be let loose.

BOKKOS, OUR PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU. 😭

My heart is heavy as I reflect on the latest reports from Bokkos, Plateau State. Once again, innocent lives have been cut short. Families have been shattered. Children have been orphaned. Widows have been left to mourn.

How many more graves must we dig before the nation truly pays attention?

How many more mothers must bury their children before the cries of our communities are heard?

These are not statistics. They are fathers, mothers, sons, daughters, neighbours, and friends—people created in the image of God, each with dreams, families, and a future that violence has stolen.

As a minister of the Gospel, I have stood beside grieving families. I have watched mothers collapse in sorrow, listened to children cry for parents who will never return, and witnessed pain that words cannot fully describe. Every tragedy leaves the same question echoing in my heart:

Lord, how long?

“The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” — Psalm 34:18

Today, Bokkos is brokenhearted. Widows are brokenhearted. Orphans are brokenhearted. Entire communities are living in fear.

Yet even in our grief, we hold firmly to Christ. Violence may destroy homes, but it cannot destroy our faith. It may silence voices, but it cannot silence the Gospel.

While we continue to pray, we must also ask difficult questions. Why do innocent communities continue to suffer? Why do grieving families feel forgotten? Why do political calculations seem louder than the cries of those burying their loved ones?

A nation should never become comfortable with the blood of its own people.

To everyone mourning in Bokkos, please know this: you are not forgotten. Your pain matters. Your tears matter. Your lives matter. God sees every tear, every grave, and every broken heart.

“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.” — Matthew 5:4

I call on Christians everywhere to pray for Bokkos. Pray for the wounded. Pray for the widows and orphans. Pray for peace. Pray for justice. Pray that God will comfort every grieving family and heal our land.

And as we pray, let us never become numb to suffering. Let us continue to speak for those whose voices have been silenced and stand with those carrying unimaginable pain.

May God comfort every grieving heart, protect every vulnerable community, and bring lasting peace to Plateau State and all of Nigeria.
