At Transcorp, it's hard to miss the difference in pace and energy between the politicos and the business people. The former exhibit a languid pace devoid of urgency, whereas the latter are sprightly, operating in double time. We clearly need more biz people in politics.

A moving man meets his luck. Sat in Transcorp piano bar yesterday, randomly overhead an executive complaining about a service from a company we work with. Approached and helped troubleshoot the problem while also informing the company. Now we're in position to grow the account.

There's an unease some people elicit in you when you meet them. Pay attention to that gut feeling; it's often correctly warning you about the person.
