I want to talk about the men and women who are healing completely alone. No therapist. No support system that truly understands. No person in their physical life has the capacity to hold the full weight of what they are carrying. Just them. Reading twitter at midnight. Saving posts they will return to at 3AM. Building themselves back up using whatever they can find in the dark. If that is you, I want you to know that what you are doing is one of the most extraordinary acts of self-love I have ever witnessed. You showed up for yourself when nobody else did. You kept seeking when seeking was the hardest thing. You kept choosing growth on days when survival was already more than enough. This page is for you specifically. You are not alone in it anymore. Drop a heart below if you are one of them. I want to see how many of us there are.
my therapist told me, "stop assuming people are mad at you. Stop attempting to read people's minds. stop trying to manage the thoughts and emotions of others. let people be in charge of themselves. if they have something to say to you they will and if they don't it is their responsibility not yours. overthinking kills happiness" and that hit me like a brick.
Hopefully by next week Iβll be back in the gym cause I am missing it BAD. Norovirus is NO JOKE. ππ½π Been βout of commissionβ for about three days now & I am STILL feeling it. Energy level on 0. πͺ«
I am not an angry person. I'm someone who has been hurt, abused and taken for granted too many times, someone who used to be soft and full of spark but slowly lost pieces of myself because people kept taking without giving back...
I am not full of hate, I'm just tired, tired of explaining myself, tired of fighting for the bare minimum, tired of holding on to people who never held on to me. They tried to break me but I refuse to stay broken. I may not be the same soft soul I once was, but I'm stronger now, and I know my worth. And I will never settle for being treated as less than I deserve.
People really do fumble you because they donβt know what to do with you. Theyβve never experienced someone at your level, so they try to handle you the same way they handle everybody else. Same bare minimum, same lazy energy, same little games. And thatβs exactly where they lose. You canβt treat something rare like itβs regular and then be shocked when it walks away.
Black History Month is a time to recognize the lived, shared experience of all Black folks who have fundamentally shaped, challenged, and ultimately strengthened America. Itβs about taking an unvarnished look at the past so that we can create a better future. As we mark 100 years of celebrating Black history, letβs honor the sacrifices of the leaders who came before us, and recommit ourselves to continuing their work.
People who choose to superset two different machines when the gym is clearly busy as all hellβ¦ because WHY??? No reason on Godβs green earth to be on a machine for damn near 20 minutes, if not longer. ππ
what you do in private, shows in public. reading shows in a conversation. your diet shows in energy. your discipline shows in confidence. your focus shows in your results. you are what you cultivate when no one is watching. prioritize your time & focus on discipline/consistency
I honestly don't want to be strengthened by difficult situations and be tested anymore this year. I'm tired. I want soft experiences that teach me the grace and gentleness of the Universe towards me.
Nobody prepares you for the amount of pain and grief you experience when you have to forgive yourself for believing someone was actually a genuine person. The hardest part isn't just their betrayal, it's the shame you carry for ignoring your instincts.
Woman to woman: Enter 2026 choosing yourself. Feed your soul. Move your body with intention. Delete distractions that steal your focus. Lock in on your goals and protect your peace. Water your own grass so deeply that comparison fades and outside noise goes quiet. This year isnβt about proving anything, itβs about alignment, discipline, and becoming unstoppable.
