On days like these I feel ashamed to be a journalist. Much of the UK media are clamouring for another ruinous national lockdown. Lockdowns are a killer. We cannot afford another one. Yet the media are trying to push the govt into doing it all over again.

I’ve stayed away from this subject as I had read others & couldn’t validate.
One of my staff members lost an elderly relative, they said had to press for a post mortem as told was Covid..post mortem declares Bronchitis cause of death.
If truthful, is this what others experienced?

@Ryanair I’m supposed to be flying tomoro, was only after being unchecked so could change flights, after being on hold for an hour I finally managed to speak to someone and then the call was cut. Only email I’ve received is to say that Leeds Bradford no longer announce anything on tannoy
