Mr. Oyedokun was among the 7 teachers and 39 innocent schoolchildren ruthlessly abducted during a daytime raid on multiple schools on Friday, May 15, 2026. On Sunday, May 17, 2026, his captors—identified as radical Islamist Fulani terrorists—released a horrific Telegram video documenting his forced final words and subsequent beheading. This visual display of unadulterated evil has sent shockwaves through Oyo State, the Southwest region, and the global Nigerian diaspora.

“Nigeria is bleeding from every artery, and the psychological warfare being waged against innocent civilians has reached an intolerable peak,” said Stephen Osemwegie spokesperson for SNG-USA. “Mr. Oyedokun was not a soldier; he was an educator shaping the minds of the next generation. To see him bound, paraded, and brutally slaughtered on camera is a stain on our collective humanity. The terrorists have adapted, embedding themselves deeply within Nigeria's vast forests. A joint rescue operation by the Nigerian military, the Amotekun Corps, and local vigilantes was tragically disrupted over the weekend when security personnel ran into Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) deliberately planted by the terrorists, resulting in several casualties among the rescue forces. The School Principal Mrs Rachael Alamu of Community High School, Ahoro-Esinele is in captivity.

Four motorcycles allegedly snatched from villagers.(3 motorcycle was snatched from Yawota community and 1 from community high school)

Moreover, the number of teachers missing/kidnapped were 7 (Seven) and students were 39 which in total 46 missing/kidnaped
