@freeman_raech@AusDiabetesEd I donโt think many DEs really recognise the opportunities they have to positively (or adversely) affect how they can influence the trajectory of their clientsโ mental health journey.

A1 - right, so not just relentless but unpredictable - thatโs a big problem because one day you do things a certain way and everythingโs OK and the next you do the same and itโs not - that is SO frustrating #ADEAchat
@KarenJamesonCDE@T1_Fi@AusDiabetesEd Letโs hope it all lives up to expectations and meets objectives for all stakeholders! Looking forward to seeing what all the very hard work by so many has resulted in ๐ค

@AusDiabetesEd Personally, Iโm kinda glad I was Dx with T1 after Iโd finished school.
Uni life wasnโt easy (back in the dark ages ๐) but I survived.
I take my hat off to all the kids, families and school staff who do their very best to help, support and care ๐

@AusDiabetesEd Diabetes management relies on so many things. Have knowledge to change what you are able to, and be aware of the things you canโt influence. The body and how it reacts to its environment is going to test you! #ADEAchat
Ability to drink and enjoy good coffee is important ๐โ๏ธ๐คฉ
Oh, and to listen and then provide encouraging feedback, even if itโs not really what I want to hear ๐ #ADEAchat
So so important! Iโve had some fabulous mentors throughout my nursing and diabetes careers ... count them as wonderful friends as well as colleagues and can ask them anything anytime. #ADEAchat
