@RealiseCreative @sydney_festival Our arts community is full of trans and LGBTQI community members who have for generations been discriminated against - sidelined, lost gigs, beaten and/or killed. If they/we can’t find support in the arts community then - visibly of serious and dangerous bias will continue.
@TimHannan Do the Americans who voted for the asshole know that ‘Make Germany great again’ was Hitlers slogan that got him into power, coincidence? I think so … America, you are in serious and profound trouble.
.@jacindaardern showed the world a new style of leadership by deciding to foreground kindness and empathy. Her example has been a shining light to many, especially women. I congratulate her on all she has achieved to date and wish her well in this next phase of her life.
It was wonderful to show Patron & Deputy Prime Minister @RichardMarlesMP the Australian Orphanage Museum #Geelong
He understands the importance of the museum to CareLeavers & other people who do not know about this history
He wrote
“Ensuring we never forget
Thank you”
We were so busy gabbing, we didn’t even get a photo but the conversation was filmed. I have worked a lot in the arts & have found it somewhat brutal. But tonight I was floored by such kindness. Thank you. What a privilege. & this is an extraordinary work:

Extraordinary post-show conversation tonight @Carriageworks. Thank you so much Kaz Therese for inviting me and Sarah Miller AM for your brilliant moderation. I was so touched by the generosity of Gadigal/Bidgigal/Yuin Elder Aunty Rhonda Dixon-Grovenor.
🙏👍🏽
“I grew up not knowing my family history. My mother had her whole childhood memory erased."
@kaztherese's performance work, ‘Sleeplessness’, opens next week. Don’t miss out on this radically honest production, 4-13 Aug. Thu 4 Aug, sold out.
