@SebAaltonen Iโm not surprised, it really struggles with 3D operations. Ask it to create a simple Android app that places targets around the user and uses the gyro or arcore to find them. (Instant fail)
@pvncher @ChatGPTapp Iโve never found Canvas to be useful. It removes the ability to use TTS and worse, you lose access to other agents. Not to mention that it starts acting like it has brain worms.
Just got laid off while recovering from surgery - if anyone has any open roles or freelance positions especially in XR/spatial computing please hit me up :)
We've been teasing the VR Multiplayer template for a hot minute now...
This template is a labor of love by the XR Authoring team at Unity, and ties together XRI 3.0, with OpenXR and all of Unity's mp services (ngo, lobby, relay, vivox..)
Well... it's here! Grab it on the hub
@javierdavalos@alessiograncini It is an OpenXR API and can be used with any render pipeline. In this example, we simply set the environment reflections and the skybox material to use the cubemap provided by the API.
Excited to share that AR Foundation 6 is out of pre-release and fully supported for Unity 6!

* ARCore Image Stabilization
* Simulation occlusion and light estimation
One of the most exciting announcements from the XR team at Unity over GDC last week, is the multiplayer template that sets up all of Unity's multiplayer services for you, including lobbies and spatialized voice chat, all over OpenXR.
It even supports hand tracking replication!
As we announced today at GDC, XRI 3.0 has just been released!
Check out some of massive improvements to interaction with the near-far interactor, and our overhauled input handling with input readers
Weโre excited to hear what you think!
Hey developers, there is a new user setting for the display zone that allows users to display content as close as 25cm.
As a developer, you can read this setting and ensure your content is visible while respecting the user's preferences.

๐ I had issues with Wi-Fi latency but I got a few extenders and this is running so well. Everything here is running on an Titan RTX GPU machine (older GPU) but works well.
