عمران خان کی طبی رپورٹس تشویشناک ہیں۔ میں نے کئی ماہرین سے مل کر ان کا جائزہ لیا ہے، اور یہ سادہ الفاظ میں لکھ رہا ہوں تاکہ ہر پاکستانی سمجھ سکے کہ اصل صورتحال کیا ہے۔

ترتیب کے لحاظ سے جو چیز مجھے سب سے زیادہ پریشان کر رہی ہے وہ ہے ان کی ذہنی دباؤ اور اضطراب کی کیفیت ہے، دل کی دھڑکن میں بے ترتیبی، اور بڑہتا ہوا بلڈ پریشر۔ رپورٹ میں نیند کی کمی کا ذکر نہیں، مگر ادویات دیکھ کر یہ بھی تقریباً یقینی لگتا ہے۔

میں عمران خان کو 35 سال سے زیادہ عرصے سے جانتا ہوں۔ ذہنی دباؤ کبھی ان کی کمزوری نہیں رہا۔ مگر اب یہ عروج پر ہے، خود بتا رہا ہے کہ تین سال کی قید اور مکمل تنہائی نے ان پر کیا اثر ڈالا ہے۔

اس کی وجوہات سمجھنا مشکل نہیں: ملک کی صورتحال، جیل میں مقید ساتھی، شہید ہونے والے اور ان کے سوگوار خاندان۔ خود ان کی اپنی تنہائی، نہ اخبار، نہ کتابیں، باہر کی دنیا سے مکمل بےخبری۔ اور بلاشبہ بشریٰ بی بی، اپنی بہنوں، کارکنوں اور پارٹی کے بارے میں ان کی فکرمندی۔

اور دھڑکن کی بے ترتیبی کو حقیقی وقت میں ظاہر کر سکتی ہے (کیونکہ یہ فیچر پاکستان میں غیر فعال ہے)۔

اب وہ بلڈ پریشر کی تین الگ الگ دوائیں لے رہے ہیں۔ اس کے لیے روزانہ صبح و شام باقاعدہ نگرانی درکار ہے تاکہ خوراک درست کی جا سکے، ہفتہ وار اندازوں پر نہیں چلا جا سکتا۔ انہیں کولیسٹرول کم کرنے والی دوا بھی دی جا رہی ہے۔ اس عمر میں بڑھا ہوا کولیسٹرول جینیاتی اور ذہنی دباؤ دونوں وجوہات سے ہو سکتا ہے، اور اسے خوراک، ورزش اور دوا کے امتزاج سے قابو کرنا ضروری ہے، جیسا کہ بلڈ پریشر کے لیے بھی۔ کم نمک۔ زیادہ حرکت۔ حقیقی نگرانی۔

درج ذیل ٹیسٹ اب بغیر کسی مزید تاخیر کے ہونے چاہئیں:
۱) اسٹریس ٹیسٹ
۲) ایکو کارڈیوگرام

۴) Cardiac Artery Calcium CAC اسکین — بڑھے ہوئے کولیسٹرول کی وجہ سے، تاکہ شریانوں میں جمع کیلشیم کے ذخائر معلوم ہوں جو براہِ راست دل کے دورے یا اسٹنٹ کی ضرورت کا باعث بنتے ہیں۔
۵) کارڈیک سی ٹی انجیوگرام اور، اگر ضرورت پڑے تو، دیگر ٹیسٹ۔

میں سخت پریشان ہوں۔ تنہائی ان کے جسم پر جسمانی اثرات مرتب کر رہی ہے۔ اگر اسے فوری طور پر حل نہ کیا گیا تو نقصان ناقابلِ تلافی ہو سکتا ہے۔

عمران خان کو اب فوری طور پر ہسپتال کے ماحول میمنتقل کیا جانا لازمی ہے، ایک آزاد اور غیرجانبدار طبی بورڈ کی نگرانی میں۔ ان کا خاندان اور پاکستان کے سرکاری ڈاکٹروں پر بلکل اعتماد نییں کرتے ہیں۔ سب پہلے بھی دیکھ چکے ہیں کہ رپورٹس میں ردوبدل کیا گیا، اعداد و شمار بڑھا چڑھا کر یا دبا کر پیش کیے گئے، پلیٹلیٹس کا معاملہ اس کی ایک مثال ہے۔

اگلے تین ماہ بہت اہم ہیں اور پتہ چلے گا کہ ان کی حالت بہتر ہوتی ہے یا مستقل نقصان میں بدل جاتی ہے۔
ہم سب پریشان ہیں۔
ملک کو آج ان کی ضرورتہے، پہلے سے کہیں زیادہ ہے۔
اللہ انہیں صحت مند رکھے۔ آمین۔

It has now been around 1,100 days since my father, Imran Khan, was imprisoned, and my brother and I haven’t heard his voice since March. For months, we’ve been denied contact with him. We remain in the dark about his access to healthcare as his eyesight continues to deteriorate. He urgently needs medical attention, and with no family or legal access, we don’t even get any second hand information or reassurance.

I’ve found myself especially missing him recently. I want to speak to him about mundane things like my cricket, books I’ve been reading and what new movies are good. I understand the people of Pakistan want their chosen leader free, but I miss my father more than ever.

But this is not just about a father. It is about Pakistan, and its future. A rigged, authoritarian regime continues to crush political opposition, undermine democratic institutions, and deny millions of Pakistanis their right to freely choose their leaders, whilst terrorising those who speak their beliefs.

I once again plea to the international community to not look away. Silence in the face of injustice only enables it.
