@mattdabbs Christian Progressivism and Christian Nationalism are two sides of the same coin. I took “progressivism” above to be a Christian-based, politically motivated progressivism … but maybe that’s not what you meant? 🤷🏼♂️
5 Things Your Marriage Probably Needs EVERY DAY...
1. PRAISE: Tell your spouse every day that you appreciate them and tell them what they do well. Make it your daily goal to focus on what they do right ... more than you do what that do wrong.
2. AFFECTION: Kind words, touching, hugging, kissing, cuddling, etc should be a daily activity in your marriage. Say "I love you," each day. Give a hug and a kiss.
3. CHECK IN: Take a few moments everyday to check in. Ask your spouse, "How was your day?" or "Are you doing okay?" or "Is there anything I could do to help you?"
4. PRAY: Pray for your marriage, spouse and family every day. This is one of the greatest ways to bless your marriage and family.
5. TIME: Spend some quality time together each day. Quality time is giving your undivided attention, not just being in the same room together.

The Mandalorian and Grogu Tracking for Lowest Star Wars Box Office Opening Ever
"For Star Wars, a franchise that once dominated the global box office, that’s a stunning shift."
I’m sympathetic to this argument, but genuine question: what about smoking in a household with children? Secondhand smoke (of any kind) would undermine the description “victimless,” right? What am I missing?
"Nothing in you that has not died will ever be raised from the dead. Look for yourself, and you will find in the long run only hatred, loneliness, despair, rage, ruin, and decay. But look for Christ and you will find Him, and with Him everything else thrown in."
