Is this an inflection point in attitudes of US sports betting operators towards third party tech? Bally's tried the inhouse approach & failed miserably. With 3 players dominating the US market it makes complete sense for smaller operators to outsource given the costs. $KAMBI

Well that didn't take long. Speaks not only to Betr missteps but the strength of oligopoly here in AU. I can't see where the interest comes from, particularly if Pointsbet AU also has the for sale sign out, a better product, brand & more customers.

@davidjbrodie An unregulated financial asset, nothing more than a personal guarantee. Its a grift thats traveled to the four corners of the globe. Australias highest profile example included a test cricketer as ambassador & the purchase of a Syd to Hobart winning Maxi! https://t.co/X7GuKlh5Xv
@ljp0101@puppyeh1@JulianKlymochko 7) Some might argue piggybacking off PW but that strategy could be risky, if they reach a confidential settlement then potentially you’re on your own!
@ljp0101@puppyeh1@JulianKlymochko 6) Keep in mind this is an example of how the process ran in the Caymans and it could be very different in this situation. Please keep that in mind. DYOR
@puppyeh1@JulianKlymochko This makes it very difficult for individuals and small institutional shareholders where the legal/ admin cost can outweigh the uplift gained off any settlement. Not as easy as riding PW coattails unfortunately.
@puppyeh1@JulianKlymochko It is common to see dissent claims settled with the company negotiating with each individual shareholder separately. The agreed price can be different under each agreement (confidential also).
@MattRybaltowski Definitely not a win... unless you’re a Flutter shareholder! Yes FOX got a win on timing - this was widely expected - but definitely did not on valuation. FOX Bet ruling also a net positive for Flutter. $FOX $FOXA $FLTR
Flutter Entertainment - an attractive long term bet.

@cl_macau Situation in Macau is like watching slow moving car crash. Assuming one recognises COVID-19 isn’t going anywhere then COVID zero is a futile end objective. There has to be a plan to exit COVID zero, particularly with transmissibility increasing with every new variant. I see none.
