I don't know if anyone will see this, but here goes. All medical students specializing in neurology. Pleeeease consider becoming a Movement Disorder Specialist. The dx of PD here is rising. And rising.๐๐๐
@gggirl924 This is too hard. I actually bought a Jimmy Durante CD for Music & Memory work for a support group I helped facilitate. He was really good.
I'd have to say Sammy Davis, Jr. first though. Then Mel Tormรฉ. But all the rest have their #1 moments for me too.
TOO HARD.
@DiaryofaSickGrl I should have added a "5." I now see a PCP who was recommended to me by a local Naturopath, who if I could afford it I would go to. But she and the PCP actually refer patients to each other, so while it's too late for me really, I have a PCP who BELIEVES.
@DiaryofaSickGrl 4. She also would not sell any products "unless they gave her the chemistry". She knew what things could possibly cause interactions. I later used her for my BHRT, which was wild yam based. She also recommended a concentrated flax called BREVAIL. I did better with her than an MD.
@DiaryofaSickGrl 3. I was not cured by any stretch, but she at least got me some symptom relief by explaining what was happening. Her backgrounds in chemistry, and nature was really helpful.
@DiaryofaSickGrl 2. I wound up having an appt with the pharmacist, who did a more detailed history on me than any other doctor in my life at that point. She was also educated in Naturopathy. She did have a recommendation but it was too far away. She then gave me ideas and things to try.
