@bryan_johnson Bryan, you might research the importance of the omega-6 : omega-3 ratio in the diet. Our body has a set of desaturates and elongases. This same set operates on both PUFA branches. When you overload with omega-6, your body does not elongate/desaturate ALA to yield healthful n3s.
@kaulcsmc@DrToddLee To go against what I just said, 28/33 randomized participants who did not take at least 1 dose of their med were from LMWH group. They definitely needed to report full ITT.
@kaulcsmc@DrToddLee Yes, though notable that ‘as treated’ here means they had to receive at least 1 dose of their randomized med. Not as far from ITT as PP would be.
@BenMazer@beenwrekt@ml_barnett https://t.co/UqQr6iE4SR. Should have linked. Just an example to show how quickly dementia diagnoses rise with age at that end of the age spectrum. This is one of the reasons I’m not convinced by arg that the “line is too steep in the vax-ineligible” figure from the RDD paper
@BenMazer@beenwrekt@ml_barnett A challenge might be age and thus probability of dementia diagnosis. In the RDD pre-print, those just under vs just over 80yo are being compared. In the NEJM paper, most are <80.
