As many executions nationwide are going forward under dubious circumstances it’s important we highlight similar cases in the Commonwealth.
Check out this article about death row inmate Brian Keith Moore and his innocence claim. We can’t allow the death penalty to return to KY.
Multiple courts have concluded the evidence Brian Keith Moore is guilty is "equally consistent" with the evidence he's innocent.
Now, his attorneys say new DNA evidence further proves his innocence and should overturn his 44 year old death sentence.

The Kentucky Legislative Session has officially started. Call your representative TODAY and tell them to support the abolition of the death penalty in Kentucky!
I am commuting the sentences of 37 individuals on federal death row to life sentences without the possibility of parole.
This action is consistent with my Administration's moratorium on federal executions, except for cases involving terrorism and hate-motivated mass murder.
It’s time for the death penalty movement to embrace the upcoming generations! Appetite for the death penalty has never been lower. Let’s end the practice once and for all!
Forty-seven percent of Millennials favor capital punishment, marking a 16-point drop from an average of 63% between 2000 to 2006. Even fewer Gen Z adults, 42%, now support the death penalty, though they were not old enough to be sampled in previous polls.

BREAKING: A Texas judge has ruled that the Texas Department of Criminal Justice must honor the @TexasHouse subpoena to produce Robert Roberson for testimony next week and halted tonight's execution. Prosecutors said they will immediately appeal. More details to follow.
Robert Roberson is still scheduled to be executed today at 6pm in Texas for a crime that never occurred. Gov. Greg Abbott can still issue a 30-day reprieve in Robert’s case. Call the governor’s office and ask him to grant the 30-day stay before it’s too late.

There are lots of reasons why Alabama's execution of Alan Miller is wrong. Here are a few:
1. Alan Miller should not even be on death row. Prosecutors were unable to obtain a unanimous jury vote for death. Almost everywhere else in the U.S., that would have been a life sentence.
The State of Oklahoma plans to execute Emmanuel Littlejohn this morning even though prosecutors argued another man was the shooter and a state board has recommended the governor spare Littlejohn's life. https://t.co/dZen13eOw4
I was a witness for Alabama's execution of Alan Miller by nitrogen gas tonight. Again, it did not go as state officials promised. Miller visibly struggled for roughly two minutes, shaking and pulling at his restraints. He then spent the next 5-6 min intermittently gasping for air
What does it say about our legal system when the U.S. Supreme Court refuses to stop an execution even when the county prosecuting agency that handled the original trial files a brief in support of a stay and supports vacating the entire conviction? #MarcellusWilliams
