You’re retroactively manufacturing a “threat” to justify a state killing that happened when he had no weapon in his hand, no weapon on his body, and was walking away.

That is not “law enforcement,” not “self-defense,” not “public safety,” it is the logic of a government that believes any prior misconduct (real or alleged) grants them the right to kill you whenever they feel like it.

If this is the standard now, then due process is dead, and your “context” is nothing more than an alibi for an extrajudicial execution.
