As of December 24, 2025, The United States Postal Service (USPS) finalized a new rule that changes the definition of a postmark.

Previously, mail dropped off at a post office, or in a blue collection box, was generally postmarked with THAT DAYS DATE.

Under the new rule, the official postmark date will be the date it is first processed by automated equipment, not necessarily the date you dropped it in a mailbox. Those postmarks will now be applied at regional processing centers.

FOR EXAMPLE - If you drop a letter in a mailbox on Tuesday, but it isn't picked up and scanned at a processing center until Thursday, the postmark will read Thursday rather than Tuesday.

WHY THIS IS IMPORTANT
It could drastically and dramatically effect mail-in voting, and could potentially rob voters of their votes - depending on when those votes are counted in each State.

PAY ATTENTION HERE
In November 2025, the U.S Supreme Court agreed to listen to the MAGA Trump regimes argument to STOP States from counting votes AFTER election day.

With this new USPS rule in place, depending on when a voter dropped off their mail-in ballot — their vote may never be counted if the Supreme Court rules in Trump's favor.
