Head Start programs serving just under 20,000 children are still locked out of their federal funding.

Some federal employees say they found a program downloaded to their govt computers that could be used to sift through their team chats to search for key words.

Treasury computers reportedly included in this.

More on DOGE activities: Some career employees across various agencies say they've seen their govt personnel file disappear only to be re-added later.

"I don’t know whether any have been doctored—more likely that they’re running all the documents through AI" by @ElonMusk @DOGE team, one employee told me.

The personnel folders are part of eOPF, a centralized repository where an employee can access their pay statements, disciplinary actions, security clearance documentation, job descriptions, contracts, awards, and tax info, etc from any federal job they're had.

A condition of access to federal agency networks is consent to monitoring. A message pops up in a box when they log in.

(My understanding is that it doesn't mean consent to political vetting, though.)
