@TheCountofS@StrategicTrends I’ve been so starved for good Halo anything that’s not just a blog post and there’s not many other games I’m gonna get soon so they might unfortunately get me just for those three missions
"Liminal interactions continually escalated between USN warships and increasingly bold PLAN Maritime Militia proxies. At the request of the US Navy, Anchorage stood up a reciprocal force–Multifunction Response Team Ember. A counter-reconnaissance unit with search and rescue capabilities, Ember was staffed to provide an in-extremis contingency response to increasingly bold actions by Chinese Maritime Militia proxies in contested waters through the South China Sea." @Amanseeks The SOG Prairie Fire expansion for Arma 3 is number 1 no question. The PAVN patrols actively tracking you based off noise they hear or whenever they see you is very well done.

@shas_kais@TiredCadain777 The way projections like that work is generally an average. You can find similar statistics in history, especially in WW2, of individual battles or theaters with extremely high casualty rate but obviously not everyone died exactly at T+15 hours and 1 second. It’s an average.

@Captain_Fubar I’m trying to find the words for it but why do these lines (and Russians in general talking about Ukraine) just have this sense of pseudo-intellectual smugness? Does Russian to English translation just make them all sound like pathetic brainlets?
The U.S. Army chose a Teledyne FLIR Rogue 1 loitering drone that one soldier carries in a single tube and can use to destroy a tank 12 miles away — no vehicle, no launcher, no support needed.

Really extraordinary reporting by @NatashaBertrand et al. A few observations.
1. You don't appoint a former CIA Ground Branch bigwig ambassador to Mexico without serious escalatory intent. Likely functioning as on-the-ground covert operations general.
