“For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life."
- John 3:16
“BE MERCIFUL and gracious to me, O God, be merciful and gracious to me, for my soul takes refuge and finds shelter and confidence in You; yes, in the shadow of Your wings will I take refuge and be confident until calamities and destructive storms are passed” Psalm 57:1 #GodIsGood
My prayer today: God - “…enable me to live a life worthy of your calling. Give me the power to accomplish all the good things that my faith prompts me to do. Then your name will be honored because of the way I live…”
2 Thessalonians 1:11-12 #GodisGood
We may not have answers when we want them, but every day we can make the decision to trust a God who has unfailing love for us each morning. We can surrender the weight of our worries at His feet and He will continue to show us where to walk as we continue to walk with Him.
If all you have the energy to do is sit in silence, you can be still and know that God is still God and He is close to the broken-hearted. (Psalm 46:10, Psalm 34:18)
When we are faced head on with disappointment we can choose to remember the faithfulness of God in the past and all the ways He has shown up for us, over and over again.
O God, may I “Trust in you today and do good..may I take great pleasure in you Lord, and then you will give me my heart’s desires.” Psalms 37:3-4 #GodisGood
Oh God, strengthen me today with your power so that I will have all the endurance and patience I need. Fill me with your JOY, and may I always be thankful to God!
Colossians 1:11-12 #GodIsGood
If you’re finding it hard to feel God’s presence today, take a moment to pause and observe God’s glory in the mundane moments that may feel insignificant. His glory fills this earth, and we get to experience it throughout our week. Fix your gaze on Him, friend! (Isaiah 6:3).
