Too see how many women do work that goes unpaid is absolutely outrageous. No matter Male or female you should be paid the same amount for the same jobs.
The “unintentional racism” is very knowledgable. It really shows how people can be racist and not even know it. Really makes you think on what you say more.
The ted talk “modelling” was an eye opener. Too see even the “prettiest girls” struggle with themselves really shows how everyone has body issues and that all girls are beautiful.
The “Being Black in Canada” video really opened my eyes. Just the fact that Viola was denied training because of the colour of her skin so she had to go to the states to learn is awful. But to see her come back to Canada and help others is amazing. #gndr1000
The “Two spirit” clip was nothing but heartwarming. Draco’s parents were nothing but understanding. Was also nice to see the youth coming to their own terms and realizing it’s okay to be yourself. #gndr1000
So sad to see the “sissy boy” clip. They put Kirk through all of that experimenting just so he could be more “masculine” not for his own well being- BUT for their peace at mind. Mind blowing.
@munashematowe Totally agree. I found it so hard to watch, so sad Kirk never even had his family on his side. Mrs. Murphy said she wanted to “nip it in the butt” as if a young boy playing with dolls is a bad thing. So heartbreaking.
@ssstrickland13 Totally agree with you!! They may have went through a bit to get there but at least they can have a ‘normal life’. This generation needs to start learning more about trans for sure!!
@wu_yanyun I totally agree with you! It really opened my eyes to know how hard some people have to work vs the people who get things very easily based on who their family is. #gndr1000
#gndr1000 The Ted talk was gut wrenching to see how African American women suffer alone! To hear the stories even about the way they’re treated by the police is just heartbreaking.
