Dear readers on the timeline, there is a medical condition where baby is in seated in the womb instead of head down and bum bum up.

For most women, their babies will turn before they get into labour, so usually there is no cause for alarm.

And they rushed her to the hospital.

She was received and prompt medical attention was given.

Unfortunately she lost her baby in about 4hours.

She ended up receiving 2 pints of blood as she lost a significant amount of blood.

Then the cramps started. It involved the lower part of her abdomen.

Then some blood.

Then more blood

More pain

and more blood.

She screamed out for help as she had reached her house.

A couple of neighbors gathered.

And then she was done and asked her to stand up.

Seun paid N6,000 for turning of baby.

On her way home she noticed some liquid dripping and wetting her pants.

Immediately she got up from the seat, she noticed it was blood stained.

They went to the lady and Seun was asked to lie down on a couch.

She took off her blouse revealing only her bra.

The lady got some oil and applied over her abdomen, and then began to massage the abdomen.

She soon added some twisting movements attempting to turn the baby.

‘But is it safe? This contradicts my doctor’ Seun asked seeking for clarity.

‘You know Doctors will not tell you the truth. It’s safe. I know a lot of women who have done it’ Shade reassured her.

‘Ok then, if you say so’ Seun replied

‘So what do I do?’ Seun asked.

She was very anxious and already panicky.

‘I can take you to a woman near my house. She is an expert in turning babies to their right position’ Shade replied.

‘Oh! That’s good news’ Seun heaved a sigh of relief.

‘When a baby is like that, he or she won’t grow well. They usually end up being very dull’ Shade told her.

Seun’s face changed immediately.

So many thoughts raged through her mind.

‘Was she going to give birth to an imbecile?’

‘ So what did the doctor say?’ Shade asked.

‘ He said I am doing absolutely fine. He said my scan result is fine and I should allow the baby time. I am still 27 weeks’ Seun replied.

‘It’s not a good sign’ Shade replied.

‘What do you mean?’ Seun asked

‘ Anyway I will show my doctor and hear what he has to say’ Seun told her and folded the report.

Next week was her next visit which soon came.

She discussed at length with the doctor.
