@JerseySpur5@ThatChurchman@SpursOfficial It’s about the standards at your football club. Painfully low. So, like I said, when you’re 17th again, and you’re protesting again, it’s days like this you’ll have to look back on.
@JerseySpur5@ThatChurchman@SpursOfficial When you’re 17th (again) next season, and you’re all trying to work out how you got there, think back to days like this. It’ll all make sense.
@JerseySpur5@ThatChurchman@SpursOfficial It’s just all so Tottenham. Painfully Tottenham. Spursy. Good luck with next seasons relegation battle, you should be alright again. Ben Davies is there.
@JerseySpur5@ThatChurchman@SpursOfficial That tweet makes perfect sense. Ben Davies is the embodiment of how low the standards are at your football club. But you lot never learn.
@JerseySpur5@ThatChurchman@SpursOfficial I can read in your “most successful season in the modern era” (won nothing) he played alot of games. A decade ago. And he’s still here. Which sums your club up quite nicely. Quite rubbish.
@Dansmith_89@Jaack You can just say “I don’t like him” and that’s okay. But to have every point you raise be completely destroyed only to circle back to “I don’t think he’s very good”, it means you’re just bias. Or deluded. And that’s on you to resolve I’m afraid.
@Dansmith_89@Jaack So Manchester City, the then champions of England and Europe, were prepared to pay 100 million pounds for a player because they needed an English one for “CL registration”. You’re finished man.
@Dansmith_89@Jaack If “he doesn’t sheet for any team that wants to dominate with technical players” then explain why Manchester City bid 100 million pounds for him?
@Dansmith_89@Jaack Rice starts for every football team in the world. He was the best player for the team that won the league and came second twice before. If you can’t see how good he is, that’s a you thing. You need to look past your 10th place billion pound bias
@Dansmith_89@Jaack I don’t think anyone would call him “technical”. But tenacious, strong, intelligent, powerful, quick, adaptive & available are all tenants of a footballer as well. And he’s the top of all of those. Who’s “a lot of people”? What makes their opinion more valid than who I listed?
@Dansmith_89@Jaack Well, thankfully for Declan you’re not Mikel Arteta, Pep, Tuchel, the PFA or the Balon D’or. Everyone on that list seems to think he’s quite good. You must see things they all don’t.
I believe Thomas Frank will have us in first place by the start of November
His biggest test will be against Chelsea. In my years supporting Tottenham, Chelsea have always haunted us.
Pochettino, Mourinho, Conte and Postecoglou were all schooled by Chelsea, no matter Chelsea’s, or, our situation.
This will be Frank’s chance to prove he is different to the rest.
