@LetsGoSac My guess, they didn’t know if the picks this year would be nba ready immediately, so traded for Duarte. I think they are letting him grow in g-league to get his reps and confidence up. Worse case, you have trade assets later with Duarte and a younger player (Jones) ready to go.
