He is risen!!
Happy Easter fam!
Today we celebrate the greatest moment in human history. Jesus conquering death so that we could truly live.
No greater love, no greater gift, no greater reason to celebrate. Wishing you and your families a blessed Easter full of joy! 🙏
Losing their best player two minutes into this year’s tournament is the most Iowa State thing that could have happened to Iowa State. Just have to think it will be that much sweeter when they finally are able to break through.
Tamin Lipsey walks off in tears. Crushing loss to end the season. #Cyclones fall to Tennessee 76-62. Joshua Jefferson’s absence was beyond huge. A season bursting with Final Four potential ends in the Sweet 16. ISU finishes 29-8. Interviews coming. @KCCINews
Indiana just won a national championship - in FOOTBALL. Who'da thunk that could ever happen. If they can do it, kinda makes you think your school can do it too.
Love the Yankees and love baseball, but this has gotten so bad I’m not even sure I’m going to miss the game when they go on strike in 2027. Need to fix this!
This is why #MLB needs both a salary floor and a salary cap. The industry payroll differential is so exaggerated that half the teams literally have no-chance at a World Championship.
Men's Bracketology: 2026 NCAA Tournament https://t.co/BEgQFZm7hL. 🏀🏀 There are wins that get a team into the NCAA tournament, and there are wins that change a season. Iowa State managed both in one afternoon.
Not that this year's Cyclones were ever going to be a bubble team, but what they did to Purdue on the road in Mackey Arena will certainly change the trajectory of their season. The Cyclones have never been a 1-seed -- twice a No. 2, in 2000 and 2001 -- but they're now firmly in the top line conversation after a 23-point blowout of the previously unbeaten and presumptive 1-seed Boilermakers. Iowa State also is one of only eight unbeaten teams remaining, alongside fellow top seeds Michigan, Duke and Arizona.
Of course, there's no way of knowing how the Big 12 winds will blow and where the Cyclones will land on Selection Sunday. What we do know is that this team, especially with Tamin Lipsey back, could hang a Final Four banner for the first time since 1944.
