@justMizuyuki@TheChowderhead@itsJulian23 Ah, fair enough. I thought Siege Rhino was recent enough to cut it, but maybe I am just old haha, Jace is definitely a boomer card now, I'll give you that
@justMizuyuki@TheChowderhead@itsJulian23 People screamed that Siege Rhino spelled the death of MTG from power creeping creatures, and at one point Jace was widely regarded as the best Planeswalker ever printed and was pretty ubiquitous in Legacy. They're definitely iconic, just maybe less so for zoomers
@sdw "Removing my ability to do what I wish with a device I paid hundreds of dollars for is actually a good and beneficial thing", that's basically how that reads. If I pay that kind of money for something, I like to feel like I own it.
@BasicMountain tournament rules and whether intentional or not, has gained a competitive advantage over player A. They might be in the same economic situation, but one player followed the agreement they made when they registered for the event, and got punished for it
@BasicMountain The argument I would make is that if player A goes to an event with a budget list or a suboptimal list due to budget constraints, and player B just plays the de facto best deck with counterfeits(knowingly of course), player B has intentionally subverted
@Chosler Exactly, I don't know anyone who wants every staple to be expensive, but also I don't know anyone who intentionally will lie and subvert tournament rules to win, thankfully.
@LaGenerica_ One Piece is great, and personally I think the length is a good thing. You can binge it and still practically never run out of content haha
@SaffronOlive I play mainly 4c/5c Midrange piles, and if I'm not playing a basic it's because I'm much more scared of my own manabase than I am of your disruption.
@PleasantKenobi I mean, there are a couple generations that have no good options, imo, so no. But admittedly, weedcat is the only real starter this gen
