I recommend switching from ChatGPT to Claude for general questions

Why? ChatGPT has started adding clickbait after every response

“Here’s the recipe you asked for. Would you like to know the one mysterious ancient recipe that would be even better?”

This is *extremely* dangerous

It turns asking useful questions into a cheap dopamine cycle like doomscrolling on Tik Tok or Instagram

They do it to increase engagement to artificially inflate their numbers at the cost of our attention spans and mental health

It’s especially dangerous because they know exactly what to write given our personalities and chat histories to get us to keep clicking

I know it seems useful but this is like boiling a frog by slowly increasing the heat

When you ask an LLM a question you’re using it as a tool

When the LLM is clickbaiting you they’re using you as a tool

Go outside, travel more, go to new cafes, museums, events, take a new route home, go for hikes, see cities, countrysides, take your notebook, speak to people, ask questions, start businesses - go on more side quests.

You can literally just do things, and the more you do, the more serendipity and synchronicity will find you.
