BREAKING NEWS FOR WOLVES.

Today, surrounded by ranchers and other livestock interests in the Oval Office, President Trump signed an executive order targeting federal protections for gray wolves, including the endangered and critically imperiled Mexican gray wolf.

The order directs the Secretary of the Interior to determine whether wolves meet the legal criteria for removal from the Endangered Species Act list. It does not delist them today, but it begins a process that could remove federal protections and allow expanded lethal management under state law.

During the signing, wolves were portrayed as threats to livestock and pets, as creature to be shot and destroyed. This factually incomplete, deeply one-sided, and ignorant framing did not acknowledge the documented scale of wolf predation relative to other causes of livestock mortality, nor the extreme rarity of wolf attacks on humans, nor the indispensable ecological role wolves play on the landscape we call home.

Wolves are a keystone species and apex predator, crucial to sustaining the health, function, and balance of our ecosystems.

Wolves must not be scapegoated to advance a political agenda.

Their future must be determined by sound science, the law, and the requirements for genuine recovery.

Truthfully, this is a dangerous moment for wolves, wild horses, and wildlife, and we must speak out.

Raise your voice. Contact your Members of Congress and tell them to defend federal Endangered Species Act protections for wolves.

One of the most insane cases from the global gender wars. I hope to god Sall wins, for her, for her daughter, and for all women in Australia. This misogynistic, global movement, which relies on grinding people into acquiescence through warping reality, punishing heretics, via force, fists, and, to be honest, really dull administrative bullshit too, will - should the world right itself - be recognised as the first social-media, turbo-charged, global authoriarian movement.

This frenetic, punishing past decade had its roots in crazy ideas that built in momentum, quietly, in the 20th century. The internet, and then social media in particular, were weaponised to get us to where we are now: where the world often feels absolutely and utterly crazy because most people couldn't be arsed saying NO to extremely entitled men, nor defending vulnerable young people from a horrific ideology that harms them. And they definitely couldn't be bothered defending the mainly women whistleblowing, fighting back, defending themselves, and standing up for objective truth, women's rights, and reality itself.
