@whoisheartbreak I watched it live (as I had all previous F9 missions). I remember jumping up and down with joy when it landed, as well as appreciating it fell on the anniversary of the launch of my favourite space launch, Apollo 8. Those 10 years sure have gone fast...
@BritainisCool Proportional representation allows extremists a place in government, and eventually leads to unstable governments. No electoral system is perfect, but First Pass the Post is less imperfect than most.
@NeilForPoole OK, but as overall govt spending needs to be brought under control, what cuts would you implement? It's very easy to oppose, not so easy to propose. Being in govt. must be horrible right now.
@GreasedTurtle@Erdayastronaut Completely agree with everything you said. I do wish that no matter what people's political leanings are, we respect differing opinions and have a fun and informative chat over a beer, and leave as friends.
@SciGuySpace@TheEconomist I ordered mine from Amazon UK back in August. They're now telling me delivery will be 23rd/24th January. A shame, as I can't wait to get it!
@elonmusk I am a huge fan of yours, for spaceX and Tesla. Can I recommend you start listening to BBC Radio 4 at 0810 BST? Mainstream publicly funded radio station that shows how political interviews should be done in the US. Concentrate on the US...we in the UK are a shining light.
@staran1900 @cbs_spacenews No, the helium leak is on Starliner's service module. Nothing to do with ULA's Atlas V. The chattering valve issue on the second stage that scrubbed the last launch attempt has been fixed.
@jimalkhalili@theAliceRoberts @simon_horbury @BBC@ProfBrianCox I think all your programmes and in fact, all STEM series should be on iPlayer indefinitely. I am looking forward to the return of your Quantum Physics series.
