I watched INC’s so-called explanation from their mouthpiece Zavala about what happened at the rally when Imee Marcos came on and did what she did— and honestly, it’s insulting. The moment Imee Marcos hurled the word “addict” onstage, someone should have grabbed that microphone or pulled the plug (unplugged the audio cable) and shut her down. That was the cue and the moment to act. But none of that happened. The INC just stood there and let her go on and on for more than 25 unbearable minutes — no intervention, no muting. Nothing.

So yes — that ugly, unhinged tirade happened because INC allowed it to happen. And they didn’t stop Guanzon or Marcobeta either. They let all three of them turn the stage into a circus, and they watched it unfold like it was perfectly acceptable.

INC owns this. Stop dodging, stop spinning, and take responsibility. As your theme suggests, ‘be transparent and accountable for a better democracy.’

And stop insulting the intelligence of the Filipino people. We’ve just about had it with your ‘palusot.’
