1/ Two proposed Indiana bills (HB1179 & SB202) would drastically curtail academic freedom by enshrining political oversight of syllabi & diversity issues & empowers Boards of Trustees to influence/deny tenure, & fire fac who don't adhere to ideological stipulations of the bill.
