It is ironic that it took a show centered around one of my all time favorite albums to unlock one of the band's other classic albums that I never really connected with but... I genuinely can't stop listening to Clarity if my life depended on it. https://t.co/tLBFR0BOAi
@JClarkNBCS Because somehow we're still dealing with the failure of signing Taijuan Walker and then putting all their chips into a broken Andrew Painter and a washed Aaron Nola...we have 2/5 of a rotation with a Luzardo wild card...#ThanksDave
You can always tell when this Phillies team decides to simply not give a shit. It was too hot for them. Babies. Why didn't they just forfeit today and save us all the trouble?
2/5 of the rotation is a scheduled loss (Nola/BP), Luzardo is a total toss up, Wheeler hopefully isn't hitting a wall, Sanchez is the only sure starter. And the bullpen past Duran absolutely sucks. Thanks Dave.
Crawford didn't challenge the first strike which was definitely a ball. Then has to hail Mary challenge the third strike which was definitely a strike. Phils suck at challenges.
Lotta game left. But it kinda really blows when the Phillies essentially have a scheduled loss 2/5 times through the rotation, and a third that's a complete toss up with Luzardo. An uphill battle for the offense, which is at least clicking?
Aaron Nola was my favorite Phillie for a good bit, and wears my lucky number. It's a real bummer to see how far he's fallen. He's just not good anymore.
