We combine chemical biology, functional genomics, mass spectrometry, and biochemistry to uncover a new ubiquitin signaling pathway at the ribosome, including two newcomers to the ribosome quality control field, RNF14 and RNF25, and the ribosome collision sensor GCN1.
Thrilled to share this exciting story of SR-A3 -- started from organic chemistry, to chemical biology, biophysics, and cancer biology. (1/3)

Incredibly excited to share my graduate work, and the latest from the Taunton lab @UCSF! We think this will open a new dimension of surveillance pathways for elongating ribosomes.
